Sensitive · Time-Tested Desensitiser

Comfort, clinically proven.

Daily protection for sensitive teeth and gums — Potassium Nitrate 5% calms the nerve from first use, while fluoride strengthens enamel against decay. Because comfort deserves science.

Medent Sensitive
01 — How it works

Calms the nerve. Hardens the enamel.

When enamel wears or gums recede, the tubules that lead to the nerve are left exposed — and hot, cold or sweet becomes a wince. Potassium Nitrate at its clinically proven 5% strength diffuses down those tubules and depolarises the nerve, reducing pain from first use.

Sodium Monofluorophosphate then strengthens the enamel itself, raising its resistance to acid and protecting against decay. A time-tested formula with a great foaming feel — trusted by clinicians for a reason.

Questions & Answers

Medent Sensitive FAQs

How long before I feel relief?
Most people notice a difference after about 2 weeks of consistent, twice-daily brushing, with full effect building over 2–4 weeks. It's a gradual buildup, not an instant fix.
Who is Medent Sensitive for?
Anyone experiencing sharp, short pain from hot, cold, sweet, or cold-air triggers — commonly after scaling, whitening treatments, or with naturally thin enamel or gum recession.
Can I use it every day, or only during a flare-up?
Daily use is required — the desensitising effect builds up over weeks and fades if you stop. Occasional use during flare-ups won't give you the same protection.
Is it safe for children?
It Is generally considered safe for children, but it is typically not recommended for kids under 12 unless specifically advised by a dentist. Its primary use is to treat tooth sensitivity, which is less common in children, so it is rarely included in standard paediatric toothpastes.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
It Is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy in the small, controlled amounts found in over-the-counter dental products. However, because it is not ingested and is meant only for spitting, systemic absorption into your bloodstream is minimal, making it a low-risk option for treating tooth sensitivity
How much should I use per brush?
A pea-sized amount is standard for adults, brushed for two minutes, twice a day. Avoid rinsing immediately after — let the toothpaste stay on your teeth a little longer for the actives to work.
What does it taste like?
Natural mint flavor — no artificial sweetener aftertaste.
